On the 09. and SIS.Europe 2023, the industry event for the surface inspection community in the steel and non-ferrous metals industry, took place in Aachen on 10 November. The ideal opportunity to gain an in-depth insight into the latest developments in surface inspection!
Alongside industry giants such as IMS Messsysteme GmbH and ISRA PARSYTEC GmbH, HUMAINE was also a guest at the TEMA Pyramid, home of TEMA Technologie Marketing AG. At the beginning of the event, Niklas Obermann gave a keynote speech on what it means to use artificial intelligence in a human-centred way in surface inspection.
Over the two days, attendees had the opportunity to find out about the latest findings from research and development in a variety of specialist presentations. The opportunity was not missed by Pavlos Rath-Manakidis, who drew many impulses from the event for his work on Pilot 3. Kathrin Nauth was also one of the attendees from the HUMAINE context. On the occasion of a current study to investigate the increase in acceptance of an AI-based inspection system, she took the opportunity to acquire surface inspection experts as interview partners on the exhibition area.
