The ZESS (Center for the Engineering of Smart Product-Service Systems) is an interdisciplinary research center at Ruhr-University Bochum. Scientists from 14 different fields of engineering and social sciences are currently conducting research there in order to work together on solutions for the industry of tomorrow. The aim is to support the transformation to a sustainable economy with the help of an integrated view of future technologies and service-oriented business models.
