On 11 November 2025, the HR community gathered on the campus of the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management – a vibrant forum for dialogue, partnership and jointly shaping the future of work. Under the theme “Closing the Gap – Future Strategies for Human Resource Management”, the event focused on the central question: How can we truly bridge the gap between aspiration and implementation? In this context, Prof. Dr Uta Wilkens delivered a keynote speech on the topic “Shaping change processes responsibly – A question of leadership and rhythm”.The focus was on how Generative AI (GenAI) is changing the workflow and what HR departments need to pay particular attention to. Prof. Wilkens emphasised:
  • The importance of finding and setting an example of a sustainable pace for driving change – tailored to different employee groups where appropriate.
  • The development of digital and AI skills within the company.
  • The need for binding and transparent regulatory frameworks, for example for the use of AI or remote work.
The aim is to ensure the long-term performance of teams and the problem-solving capabilities of organisations, both in person and virtually.Alongside Prof. Wilkens, numerous other fascinating speakers enriched the programme, including: Johannes Koch, Ann Miller-Rauch, Samira Arrami, Gerrit Böning, Jasmin Büchner, Fatma Dirkes, Steffen Ganders, Dr Martina Gieg, Ole Grawunder, Dr Timo Karsten, Niklas Kniedel, Mirjam Lapp (she/her), Stefanie Moskal, Dr David Plitt LL.M. (LSE), Prof. Dr Halil Sabanci, Thomas Sauer, Nikolas Schmitz-Lau, Laura Zielinski. An inspiring day that demonstrated how important it is to shape future strategies in human resources management actively and responsibly.
