On September 19, Kathrin Nauth visited DMEXCO in Cologne – Europe’s leading event for digital marketing and technology – under this year’s motto “Prompting the Future”. The focus was on diverse opportunities and possibilities of digital technologies for marketing and communication. In addition to global tech giants such as Google and Amazon, many start-ups also presented their innovative solutions. Best practices were presented and new approaches discussed in exciting talks and masterclasses. In terms of human-AI collaboration, the focus was particularly on artificial intelligence as support for employees: by taking over routine tasks, for example through virtual assistants, more space is created for creative activities. The creative collaboration between human and AI was also discussed in detail, for example with regard to AI-generated images, videos and texts. The practical insight into new technologies, such as innovative learning formats with gaming approaches, was particularly interesting.
