Yesterday’s SIHK DigiDay focused on digital innovation. Represented by Antonia Weirich (Ruhr University Bochum, HUMAINE Network e.V.), Helge Heisters (HUMAINE Network e.V.) and Darius Fabry (DEW Career Workshop), our team from the HUMAINE Competence Center was on site in Hagen and can look back on a thoroughly successful day.

In addition to the informative presentations offering practical insights into the digital transformation of a wide range of industries, we focused on engaging directly with visitors to our stand. Topics related to the human-centred application of artificial intelligence consistently generated high levels of interest during our conversations with attendees. These discussions provided valuable insights for further developing our approaches and identified promising new application scenarios.

The main hands-on exhibit at our stand was an AI-based quality inspection of solder joints. It was exciting to demonstrate just how tangible and accessible AI can be in on-the-job training. This is precisely the approach we take in our customised workshop concept, which was developed in partnership with DEW Karrierewerkstatt.

Our takeaway: It was an all-round successful day, packed with networking opportunities and proving that the future of AI relies on collaboration. Thanks to everyone who stopped by!
