Standards in digital health: a must-have or a real game-changer⁉️
AI in healthcare has enormous potential – but the path to market is often complex. A key question here is: what role do standards really play? Are they a necessary evil, or the key to scalability, interoperability and investment?
Together with HUMAINE and our experts, we’ll be getting to the bottom of this question at the next PureQuhr.
On 23 June 2026, we will take a practical look at:
🔹 the use of standards in AI-based solutions
🔹 why radiology in particular is an exciting field of application
🔹 how the concepts developed can be applied to other areas of digital health
🔹 and what investors expect from standardised, interoperable solutions
A concrete example is an IHE integration profile developed as part of the HUMAINE project – in other words, developed directly from real-world experience for real-world use.
In June, we look forward to welcoming Marc Kämmerer, Dr. med. (VISUS Health IT GmbH), Dr. Christoph Labisch (Aquarius Invest) and Darius Schippritt (Dortmund University of Applied Sciences)
The event forms part of the exhibition route ‘PEOPLE. WORK. AI.’, which explores the impact of AI and digitalisation on the future world of work – bringing together the latest research, practical experience and future prospects.
As well as short presentations, the focus will be on open discussion: please bring your questions and perspectives along!
