die HUMAINE Toolbox.

This is the HUMAINE Toolbox, a method toolkit that supports organizations in developing, implementing and using artificial intelligence in work processes in a human-centric way.

The toolbox contains more than 20 tools that have been developed from various scientific disciplines and tested in practice in different sectors.

If you would like to find out more about the HUMAINE Toolbox and how you can use it to make your company fit for the future, select one of the perspectives on this page to discover the various tools.

The toolbox from three perspectives.

The tools in the HUMAINE Toolbox can be explored from three perspectives: development areas for the introduction of AI in work processes, players involved in the development and introduction of AI and criteria for human-centeredness.

Tools by development area

The HUMAINE Toolbox combines the levels of technology, people and organization. Each tool can be assigned to a primary development level.

Tools by players

The HUMAINE Toolbox provides an overview of the most important stakeholder groups that need to be involved in the development and introduction of AI in work processes.

Tools by criteria for human-centeredness

The HUMAINE Toolbox supports you by strengthening the 8 criteria of human-centricity in your organization.

Previous scientific work.

The HUMAINE Toolbox is the product of multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research and builds on the diverse expertise and methodological approaches of the scientific partners involved. We therefore provide an excerpt from our very different instruments that have been used on the way to the HUMAINE Toolbox. The common goal of all instruments is the scientific support of human-centered AI applications in operational practice. Please note that the content of the Toolbox is currently only available in German. If you have a precise need for an English translation, please do not hesitate to contact us!

Aim of knowledge

The VBMC is used to visualize and structure value-oriented AI-based business models. This allows the current business model of a company to be mapped, so that starting points for the use of AI become clear. It can be equally useful in the value-based development of new AI-based business model. Questions are associated with each building block, providing question-based guidance for modeling a value-based AI-based business model. In this way, users can become clear about their strategic orientation.
