HUMAINE Award 2026

The idea competition for the responsible and ethical use of AI in the workplace.

We are looking for…

  • …companies that have developed AI-based solutions which make a significant positive contribution to users (e.g. improved care, participation, fulfilment at work, an improved working environment, …).

  • …companies that closely link the use of AI in work processes to staff development, or that implement the development or introduction of AI in close partnership with their staff.

  • …companies that develop or use AI systems in a way that meets the highest ethical standards.

A jury of experienced experts from research and practice from the HUMAINE Network e.V. will evaluate the entries according to their innovative strength and the aspects of human-centredness, trustworthiness and reliability.

The award is presented in the categories of ‘Innovation’ and ‘Transformation’.

The companies honoured with the HUMAINE Award will each receive prize money of €250, a one-year membership of HUMAINE Network e.V. with no subscription fees and full access to services valued at between €500 and €5,000, depending on the size of the company, as well as an exclusive mentoring partnership with a selected member of the association. As a member of HUMAINE Network e.V., you can showcase yourself and your company free of charge at the HUMAINE Spring and Careers Fair and gain exclusive access to an innovative research-practice network. The awards ceremony will take place as part of the HUMAINE Competence Centre’s spring fair on 26 February 2025 at the O-WERK in Bochum. [More information about the event]
