Another highlight of the HUMAINE Spring Fair 2025: the ceremony for the HUMAINE Award!
The HUMAINE Award – sponsored by the HUMAINE Network e.V. – was presented as part of the Spring Fair 2025. This year, the prize went to Gardia from microsynetics GmbH. Dominik Bremser and Jan-Marc Peukert accepted the award on behalf of the Gardia team.
Gardia is an emergency bracelet that uses AI technology to enable people across Europe to make an emergency call at the touch of a button to call for help and connect to emergency contacts. The bracelet detects falls and automatically notifies either the stored emergency contacts or the emergency call center, which is available around the clock, ensuring greater safety in everyday life. This enables users to manage their everyday lives safely and independently. In addition, the bracelet is not only functional and user-friendly, but also stylish and comfortable to wear. The long battery life also sets new standards in this area.
The future of AI not only stands for innovation, but also for close collaboration between humans and technology. This is precisely where the HUMAINE Award of the HUMAINE Network e.V. comes in. The award recognizes companies that have developed AI-based solutions that make a sustainable, positive contribution for users, closely link AI with the further development of work processes and adhere to the highest ethical standards.
The HUMAINE Network e.V. was founded in April 2024 to preserve the results achieved for regional transfer in the long term and to promote further development within the consortium. The non-profit association will ensure the work and existence of the competence center beyond the funding duration.
We are very proud to welcome microsynetics GmbH to our network and are looking forward to what is sure to be an exciting collaboration!
A big thank you also goes to the two laudators Tobias Nadjib and Johannes Peuling from HUMAINE Network e.V.!
