Yesterday, we had the pleasure of kicking off the supporting programme for our exhibition route PEOPLE. WORK. AI. with our first dialogue session at the RUB Makerspace.

We were delighted to welcome our guest, Emil Schult, to speak on the topic of ‘AI and Art – Artistic Perspectives on AI in Work Processes’. Hosted by Uta Wilkens, the event warmly invited all participants to join in the discussion, ask questions or even challenge the speakers. There were lively discussions on what actually makes art special in the age of AI, how technology can support an artistic process, and what role copyright actually plays.

Finally, visitors had the opportunity to view the exhibition – and in particular the fountain designed by Emil Schult – and to learn more about the creative process behind the artwork.

We would like to thank everyone involved, especially Emil Schult, for their contribution to this fantastic first dialogue event!
