Multiplier case: AI implementation with employee involvement

IHK Gesellschaft für Informationsverarbeitung mbH

Summary

Based on the HUMAINE Toolbox content provided by GA RUB/IGM, the co-determination dialogues and
the model works agreement on AI, the aim in the case of IHK Gesellschaft für Informationsverarbeitung mbH
is to draw up, in collaboration with the management, the works council and in-house experts,
a draft (framework) works agreement on the use of AI
that is ready for negotiation, and to bring it to the negotiating table.

Description of the Approach

By drawing on the co-determination dialogues
an orientation workshop (1) with the works council
and management will be held to explore potential use cases for the AI features
of Microsoft 365. Subsequently,
in identification workshops (2) with the
the works council, areas for
for action relating to workplace co-determination regarding
the use of AI in this context will be identified. Finally,
dialogue workshops (3) will be held
with the works council and in-house experts
to develop a draft Microsoft 365 AI works agreement and/or
an RBV AI works agreement based on the model AI works
agreement.

Goals & Results

The IHK Gfi multiplier project is intended to test, evaluate and refine the contents of the HUMAINE Toolbox –
dinamely the codetermination dialogues and
and the model collective agreement on AI developed by GA RUB/IGM. Furthermore, the successful implementation of a
(revised) collective agreement at the IHK Gfi would potentially open up further opportunities for replication
