Dear students,
we invite you to participate in the interdisciplinary Winter School on “Human-Centered and Responsible Artificial Intelligence (AI).” The event will take place next semester from 25.11.
– 29.11.2024 at the Center for the Engineering of Smarter Product-Service Systems (ZESS) at Ruhr-University Bochum. It is open to students from psychology, work science, and neuroinformatics.
The Winter School is part of the NET-hUmAINE project (https://net-humain.com/), a global network for responsible AI applications. This offers a unique opportunity to engage with international experts from both academia and industry. You will have the chance to explore complex ethical, technological, and psychological challenges that arise with the introduction of AI technologies in organizations, and to discuss these with the experts.
Topics covered at the Winter School include AI ethics, explainability of AI systems, and their sustainable integration into everyday working practices. The program will feature lectures, workshops, case study analyses, and other interactive elements, including an excursion to the German Mining Museum in Bochum.
By participating, you can earn 6 CP in the optional area. Register now via eCampus (110007) or by mail at sophie.berretta@rub.de and seize the opportunity to gain valuable insights and skills that will prepare you for future challenges of AI in the workplace!
We look forward to your participation.
