HUMAINE – this is the place to go in the Ruhr region when it comes to the human-centred development and use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the workplace. People often ask what is technically possible without placing the worker at the centre of the process. At HUMAINE, the focus is on methods that improve the quality of work outcomes through the interplay of human capabilities and AI, whilst fostering individual potential. We aim to promote the social acceptance of AI by demonstrating how it does not primarily serve the purpose of rationalisation, but rather increases the scope for good care provision and working conditions. As a centre of excellence and knowledge transfer hub for the Ruhr Metropolis, we share our solutions with companies that wish to use AI to establish new ways of working in collaboration with their staff.

At the spring reception, representatives from academia, the professional sector and politics come together and have the opportunity to discuss challenges and jointly explore possible solutions – for the future of the Ruhr Metropolis.
