With Prof Dr Uta Wilkens, Prof Dr Bernd Kuhlenkötter and Dr Valentin Langholf, HUMAINE was represented three times at the WGAB conference, which took place from 26 to 28 September in Hürth and Düsseldorf. The conference focused on the dual transformation of organisations, which refers to the simultaneous and interrelated digitalisation and sustainable development of organisations.
Dr Valentin Langholf was delighted to receive a special award. His presentation on the joint paper with Prof. Dr. Uta Wilkens, Daniel Lupp and Niklas Obermann entitled ‘Organisational pathways to responsible use of AI at work – An organisational change perspective’ was voted best paper and was therefore able to be presented and discussed again in front of all WGAB members at the end of the conference. The conference also marked the end of Prof Dr Uta Wilkens’ two-year term as President of the WGAB, for which she received many thanks and appreciation from her successor, Prof Dr Hermann Lödding, and her colleagues. We look back on an eventful and stimulating conference with valuable exchanges on shaping digital and sustainable transformation in organisations.
