On 8 April, Prof. Dr Uta Wilkens was a guest speaker at the event ‘How can we achieve human-centred artificial intelligence?’, which was hosted by VDI Technologiezentrum GmbH, the Learning Systems Platform and the University of Duisburg-Essen at the Duisburg campus and attended by numerous representatives from the worlds of politics, business and academia. Dr Wilkens’ keynote speech was entitled ‘Future-proof skills for the world of work with AI’ and introduced a subsequent panel discussion. Competence center of the Metropole Ruhr for the human-centered development of AI solutions for the working world of the future
The HUMAINE competence center is funded by the Federal Ministry for research, technology, and space travel „Zukunft der Wertschöpfung – Forschung zu Produktion, Dienstleistung und Arbeit“” and is funded and supported by the project sponsor Karlsruhe (PTKA) (funding code: 02L19C200). The funding amounts to around €9 million over five years (04/2021-03/2026).
