That was our last Ideas Lab 2024!
The nearly 50 participants at the transfer event received valuable input from experts in the field of artificial intelligence, as well as a platform for targeted dialogue and networking.
Tobias Nadjib, Managing Director of Volkswagen Infotainment, gave an exciting keynote speech on ‘AI as a miracle tool: dialogue, opportunities and responsibility in the AI code’, clearly contrasting the light and dark sides of AI use and showing how his company is implementing a responsibly negotiated AI code in the field of AI-human cooperation.
In the presentation ‘Responsible into the future: AI introduction in the laundry 4.0’, the team from the competence centre Arbeitswelt.plus highlighted the challenges and areas of tension in the introduction of AI at Herbert Kannegiesser GmbH. The speakers Dr Mathias Wöhler (Herbert Kannegiesser GmbH), Nico Rabethge (University of Bielefeld) and Oliver Dietrich (IG Metall Nordrhein-Westfalen) made it clear how AI-based technology can be introduced in a responsible manner.
Afterwards, the marketplace offered the opportunity to get more detailed information and to talk to people at the stands of the competence centres HUMAINE and Arbeitswelt.plus, joint workplace the RUB/IGM and the ZESS research building.
