Why do we at HUMAINE play in THINK²’s escape rooms?
Of course, because it’s fun! But…
…the use of artificial intelligence can bring about far-reaching changes that have a significant impact on people and work processes. Sometimes, the results produced by intelligent assistance systems are not transparent or comprehensible. This leads to reservations and a lack of acceptance of AI systems.
Together with our partner THINK2, we are designing an escape room that playfully simulates the specific aspects of AI. This allows participants in the escape game to interact with AI in a safe environment. This approach helps to develop AI-specific skills whilst reducing resistance and acceptance issues. At the same time, the escape room provides a unique research opportunity to study how individuals and teams interact with AI. The escape room becomes a laboratory, enabling us to conduct scientific research in a unique way. The HUMAINE AI escape room will be ready for use at THINK2 by the end of 2023.
As part of this week’s ruhrSTARTUPWEEK, we invited guests from the start-up scene in the Ruhr region to THINK2 to present the HUMAINE Escape Room concept, to network and – of course – to try out a few of the escape rooms.
