On 10 November 2022, we welcomed the Rotary Club of Bochum to the HUMAINE Competence Centre at Mark 51°7. As part of a poster exhibition, representatives from industry, medicine and the insurance sector were able to gain insights into HUMAINE’s various areas of research. There was considerable interest in how this research could be applied to their own organisational contexts, which in turn sparked interest in the forthcoming membership model. As well as the opportunity to get to know HUMAINE better, visitors also had the chance to tour the adjacent Maker Space. Our friends at the Maker Space provide a unique environment for new ideas and innovations. Thanks to machinery for working with wood, metal and ceramics, as well as the textile workshop, the 3D printing area and much more, creative minds can bring their ideas to life and produce prototypes here.
