On 25 November 2022, Professor Uta Wilkens delivered a keynote speech on “Perspectives of human-centred AI at work and how they matter for European SMEs”. Drawing on the HUMAINE – HUMan-centred AI Network Competence Centre, she explained how pilot projects can be used to generate universally applicable methods for working with and through AI, and highlighted the significance of a human-centred approach to AI for small and medium-sized enterprises in Germany. She also provided ideas on how to shape this human-centred approach in order to increase its acceptance.
