ISi-Speech supports traditional speech and language therapy and can also be used independently by patients as a complementary tool. <\/li>\n<li>Dr Nils M\u00fcller (IEGUS) spoke about TruDi: a specially fitted-out lorry, packed with digital and technical systems for use in care settings, which is designed to break down barriers to acceptance amongst staff in care facilities.<\/li>\n<li>Finally, Marc Margulan (dexter health) demonstrated how \u201cDexter\u201d, a smart speaker system for care homes, can make the day-to-day lives of care staff easier.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Dr Christoph Monfeld (MedEcon Ruhr) then moderated the lively discussion, which continued for some time afterwards at the exhibition stands in the university\u2019s atrium. There, alongside the findings and work from the HUMAINE project and its partners, visitors could explore a wide variety of aspects and applications of AI in healthcare. Among other things, the humanoid robot \u2018Pepper\u2019 from ENTRANCE Robotics GmbH and the brain-computer interface demonstrator from SNAP GmbH invited participants to interact and discuss.
