This is creating new challenges and opportunities for employees. To ensure that the use of artificial intelligence does not result in the loss of the identity-forming elements of a job, but rather that motivation and vigilance are maintained and promoted, Sophie Berretta, Dr Alina Tausch, Prof. Dr Corinna Peifer and Prof. Dr Annette Kluge are conducting research into the human-centred design of human-AI teaming workplaces as part of the HUMAINE research project. The Job Perception Inventory (JOPI) helps to design the use of AI in a human-centred way and to put people back at the centre in a world shaped by technology.
